A little more detail…
Strawberries and Raspberries are truly divine summer fruits, beautiful in both appearance and taste. We always have a small supply growing in the garden but for this vinegar, we ‘picked our own’ at local farms Bentley Grange and Spillmans near York. With so much sweetness in the fruit the fermentations are vigorous and fill the room with the smell of summer.
The finished vinegar has a strong presence of the base ingredients both in aroma and taste with a lovely balance of sweet and sour.
